The 2026 College Football Hall of Fame Class has been announced! Eighteen First Team All-America players and four coaches will be inducted during the 68th NFF Annual Awards Dinner Presented by Las Vegas on Dec. 8, 2026. Here they are!

Chet Brooks, who played collegiately at Texas A&M and is the person credited with coming up with the nickname β€œWrecking Crew” for the Aggie defense, has passed away. He was 60.

Thomas Davis, who played collegiately at Georgia and Arkansas State, has passed away. He was 89.

Steve Walters, who played collegiately at Arkansas and later spent 12 years coaching college football and 24 years in the NFL, has passed away. He was 77.

Aaron Benson, who played collegiately at Texas, has passed away.

Gus Gusler, a two-year letterwinner at Rice from 1957-58, has passed away. He was 88.

David Driscoll, who coached collegiately at Michigan State, has passed away. He was 90.

Clyde Werner, who played collegiately at Washington, has passed away. He was 78.

Dick Hulbirt, who played collegiately at Texas, has passed away.

James Musuraca, who played collegiately at Notre Dame from 1971-73, has passed away.

Dan Runkle, the head coach at Minnesota State for 21 years from 1981-2001, has passed away.

John Levra, who played collegiately at Pittsburg State and later coached at Kansas, has passed away. He was 88.
