10/14: The NFF Team Gets Stronger!

Good morning, football fans! A special shoutout goes to Jeff Price, who has been named the CEO of the Heisman Trophy Trust!

The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame have announced that the East-West Shrine Bowl® and Shriners Children's have become an official partner of the NFF! The partnership unites two of the most storied organizations in football with one of the world's most impactful pediatric healthcare systems, strengthening efforts to inspire communities and expand awareness of Shriners Children's world-class medical services.
First played in 1925, the East-West Shrine Bowl has featured more than 203 members of the NFF College Football Hall of Fame. NFF National Scholar-Athletes have also been well-represented with 87 all-time, including six Campbell Trophy recipients.

Graham Harrell remembers sitting in his father's office and watching Dana Holgorsen go to work on the whiteboard, drawing up the offense he envisioned Harrell running at Texas Tech. He remembers being stuck in Mike Leach's office for hours on his visit to Lubbock, with the late head coach performing magic tricks and telling war stories that had nothing to do with football.
Somehow, that combo clicked for Harrell. And somehow, that group of Red Raiders ended up revolutionizing football at every level. Add it all up, and Harrell is now a College Football Hall of Famer, joining teammate Michael Crabtree and becoming the seventh Red Raider to earn the honor.

Michael Huff played a starring role in perhaps the best college football game of the 21st Century. But let's talk about a different Rose Bowl for a moment.
Before Texas dethroned USC in a national title game for the ages, the Longhorns beat Michigan in the Granddaddy Of Them All. Huff finished second on the team with eight tackles. And the win was especially significant for Huff, the son of Michigan natives whose Wolverines fandom was so deep that their son grew up a huge Charles Woodson fan.
