9/16: Lee Corso To Be Honored In Vegas!

Good in the Game 9/16

Good morning, football fans! Justin Fuente, the former head coach at Virginia Tech and Memphis, has been named the College Football Playoff Senior Advisor for Football!

Get ready to wear that tuxedo again, Coach Corso! The National Football Foundation (NFF) & College Hall of Fame announced last week that the iconic college football analyst, an original member of ESPN's 10-time Emmy-Award-winning College GameDay Built by The Home Depot, will be the recipient of the 2025 NFF Chris Schenkel Award. He will officially be honored Dec. 9 during the 67th NFF Annual Awards Dinner Presented by Las Vegas at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino.

Montee Ball can pinpoint the moment that everything changed for him at Wisconsin. It came in 2010, just days after the Badgers had upset No. 1 Ohio State at Camp Randall, turbo-charging their Big Ten title run. Ball did not play a single snap in that game, which ate at his soul. Stuck at third on the depth chart, Ball was seriously considering a move from running back to linebacker to get on the field.

Then came the comeback at Kinnick.
