Former NFF National Scholar-Athletes/William V. Campbell Trophy finalists were making an impact all across the NFL during Week 1! A total of 37 former honorees appeared on NFL rosters, with an additional five players on practice squads.

Ohio State sticks at the top of the Week 2 FWAA-NFF Super 16 Poll, earning 52 of 56 first place votes! The top-five is rounded out by No. 2 Penn State, No. 3 LSU, No. 4 Georgia and No. 5 Oregon.

Gary Autry Moore Jr., who played collegiately at North Texas State from 1959-61 and later won more than 400 games as a Texas high school football coach, has passed away. He was 86.
Larry Glueck, who played collegiately at Villanova and spent three seasons in the NFL with the Chicago Bears before moving into coaching, including a stint as head coach at Fordham from 1986-93, has passed away. He was 83.
Don Morrison, who played tackle at UT-Arlington and was a fourth round pick of the New Orleans Saints in the 1971 NFL Draft, has passed away. He was 75.
